First Visit-What to Expect

We provide a positive and caring environment.

We understand a child may feel apprehensive about his or her first visit to the dentist. Our staff is specifically trained in helping young children overcome dental anxiety in a positive and caring environment.

We allow parents to accompany their child during the exam or procedures to give needed comfort and reassurance. After the first visit, and depending on the age of the child, we suggest you allow our staff to accompany your child to the dental treatment area. Our goal is to gain your child’s confidence and overcome apprehension. However, you are more than welcome to escort your child to the treatment room, if you believe that would be best for your child. To ensure you and your child are comfortable, our staff will explain what to expect before, during, and after the dental procedure.

Prior to your first visit, you’re welcome to come in during office hours for a tour.

Your health is very important to us, and we are taking precautions to ensure you receive the care you need. For the safety of all, we appreciate you wearing a cloth mask to your visit. When you arrive, please call our office at (818) 224-2970 from the parking lot and prior to entering the office. This ensures we can all practice social distancing. We are also thoroughly sanitizing the office between every patient and at the end of each day.

Our office is committed to doing everything possible to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We follow all recommendations of both the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). We have implemented additional measures to protect our patients and staff amid the current conditions and will monitor protocol recommendations on a regular basis.

We believe our office is a safe environment and look forward to seeing you and your child at your next appointment. Patients and staff will be regularly screened and we adhere to strict PPE standards. Please contact us to reschedule if you are or have been recently ill.

Thank you.
